Extending Res. 25-93 Implementing Interim Measure Redesignating Portions of Totten and Little RESOLUTION NO. 03-97 EXTENDING THE EFFECTIVE PERIOD OF RESOLUTION NO. 25-93, IMPLEMENTING THE INTERIM MEASURE TO REDESIGNATE PORTIONS OF THE TOTTEN AND LITTLE SKOOKUM INLET SHORELINES FROM RURAL TO CONSERVANCY SHORELINE ENVIRONMENT. WHEREAS, Resolution No. 25-93 was adopted by the Mason County Board of Commissioners on March 23, 1993. This Resolution enacted an interim measure which established a Conservancy Shoreline Environment designation on shoreline properties along Totten and Little Skookum Inlets and which had remained in effect for a twelve month period that ended on March 23, 1994; and WHEREAS, the Mason County Board of Commissioners has amended Resolution No. 25-93 and has extended this shoreline designation interim measure for five six-month periods to the date of September 23, 1996; and WHEREAS, the Mason County Shoreline Master Program is still being reviewed before the Mason County Board of Commissioners, so that the Shoreline Master Program is consistent with the policies of the Mason County Comprehensive Plan and Development Regulations, as adopted; NOW, THEREFORE BE IT-RESOLVED THAT: The Mason County Board of Commissioners hereby amends Resolutions No. 25-93 and No. 71-95 to extend by six months the effective period of the interim measure that redesignates portions of the Totten and Little Skookurn Inlet shorelines from Rural to Conservancy Shoreline Environment. The interim measure shall now remain in effect until July 28, 1997. tL DATED this day of 1997.
