Budget Emergency Appropriation RESOLUTION NO. 1 3 0_98 1998 BUDGET EMERGENCY APPROPRIATION-NOTICE OF HEARING WHEREAS, by reason of conditions which could not be reasonably foreseen at the time of making the budget for the year 1998, it is necessary to make provision for emergency appropriation(s) to the budget as required by RCW 36.40.140, to meet outstanding obligations of the Current Expense Fund for professional services,jury fees, and criminal witness fees in Superior Court; cost of the 1997 State Audit; and retirement benefits for the Fire Marshal. THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners: That the 29th day of December, 1998 at the hour of 10:50 a.m., in the County Commission Chambers, Courthouse Building I, 411 North Fifth Street, Shelton, Washington, be and the same hereby fixed as the time and place for a public hearing upon the matter of the emergency appropriation(s) to the budget for Current Expense in the estimated amount of $57,570 for the above mentioned purposes. The Clerk of the Board is hereby authorized, empowered, and directed to cause notice of such hearing to be published as provided by law. PASSED this 15th day of December, 1998.
