A RESOLUTION INCREASING THE AUDITOR'S OFFICE CASH
DRAWERS AND RAISING THE LICENSING REVOLVING CHECKING
ACCOUNT FOR THE BELFAIR ANNEX.
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 132-85 established funds and accounts for the Auditor's
Office including four (4) cash drawers in the amount of $150 each for the Vehicle Licensing
Department; one (1) cash drawer in the amount of $60 for the Recording Department; and
Resolution No. 123-96 established a $200 revolving checking account for NSF checks at the
Belfair Annex; and
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 26-95 established Cash Drawer #5 for the Auditor's
Office Belfair Annex in the amount of $150; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to increase the cash in the Auditor's Office to provide
adequate change for the Recording and Vehicle Licensing Departments; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to increase the amount in the Revolving Checking to
provide adequate funds to cover NSF checks in the Vehicle Licensing Department, Belfair
Annex;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Mason County Commissioners that
Resolution No. 132-85 and Resolution No. 26-95 be amended to increase five (5) cash
drawers in the Mason County Auditor's Office/Vehicle Licensing Department from $150 to
$200; one (1) cash drawer in the Mason County Auditor's Office/Recording Department
from $50 to $100; and amend Resolution No. 123-96 to increase the Auditor's
Office/Vehicle Licensing Department(Belfair Annex) Revolving Checking account from $200
to $1,000.
