Budget Supplemental Appropriation RESOLUTION NO. 9 5-98 1998 BUDGET SUPPLEMENTAL APPROPRIATION BUDGET-NOTICE OF HEARING WHEREAS,by reason of conditions which could not be foreseen at the time of making the budget for the year 1998,it is necessary to make provision for supplemental appropriations to the budgets as required by RCW 36.40.100, AND RCW 36.40.195 due to:reimbursement from WSU to Cooperative Extension for extra help;additional grant funds in the Clerk's Office to increase hours of clerical staff; a watershed planning grant in Planning for professional services;additional grant funds and a payment from the City of Shelton in Emergency Services for extra help, overtime and operating expenses; lease payments in Building and Grounds for building expenses and professional services; and a COPS grant and a payment from Simpson Timber Company to fund a forest products deputy in the Sheriffs Office in the Current Expense Fund; grant funds in Personal Health Nursing for equipment; and grant funds in Water Quality/ Environmental Health for EHS III salary, benefits and operating expenses. THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Mason County Commissioners: That the 22nd day of September, 1998 at the hour of 7:45 p.m., in the Mason County Commission Chambers at Courthouse Building I, Shelton, Washington, is hereby fixed as the time and place for a public hearing upon the matter of the supplemental appropriation to the budget as follows. Current Expense Fund $116,13 3 Personal Health Nursing $40,729 WQ/Environmental Health $22,640 The Clerk of the Board is hereby authorized,empowered,and directed to cause notice of hearing to be published as provided by law.
