COADUSSIONERS RESOLUTION NO.: 63-98
COUNTY ROAD PROJECT NO.: 1587
WHEREAS.on Mason County Road No. 23910 known locally as the AGATE
Road,and more
specifically located in Section 36,Township 21North,Range 3 West,W.M. I M.P. 0.04 to M.P. 0.05,work defined
as"construction"in the BARS Manual,Page H-63,et seq,is determined to be necessary and proper;and,
WHEREAS,this project is identified as 4 5 on the officially adopted County Annual Road Program.
THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS that it is their
intention to:

Perform preliminary engineering,right of way acquisition,replace existing 4'Dia x 40'L concrete culvert with a
I O'Dia x 40'L corrugated metal pipe and armor channel.
SAID WORK is to be performed by Contract in accordance with the Washington State Standard
(day labor/contract)
Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction as adopted by Mason County.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the above described County Road Project is necessary and proper,and the
estimated costs of said project are herewith set out as follows:
Engineering $ 5,000.00
Right-of-Way $ 2,500.00
Road Construction $ 40,000.00 100%Grant Funded(reimbursable)
$1 0,000/DNRConservation District
$30,000-WSDOT
The County Road Project herein described is HEREBY DECLARED to be a public necessity,and the County Road
Engineer is HEREBY ORDERED AND AUTHORIZED to report and proceed thereon as by law,provided and in
accordance with WAC 136-18.
