Budget Supplemental Appropriation RESOLUTION NO. 54-98 1998 BUDGET SUPPLEMENTAL APPROPRIATION NOTICE OF HEARING WHEREAS, by reason of conditions which could not be reasonably foreseen at the time of making the budget for the year 1998, it is necessary to make provision for supplemental appropriations to the budget as required by RCW 36.40.100 and RCW 36.40.195, due to Federal and State grants for operating expenses and emergency Skokomish Flood mitigation in Emergency Services; additional charges for traffic enforcement in the Sheriff's Department; "Fun Days" program contributions in the Convention/Fairgrounds; Federal and State grants for the Lilliwaup Bay Onsite Sewage Correction System in Environmental Health/Water Quality; Lower Hood Canal CWD funding for the Lower Hood Canal Survey Project in Environmental Health/Water Quality; and a loan from the State Dept. of Ecology for engineering costs in Wastewater/North Bay Case Inlet Fund. THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners: That the 16th day of June, 1998 at the hour of 11:45 a.m. in the Mason County Commission Chambers, at Courthouse Building 1,411 North Fifth Street, Shelton, Washington, is hereby fixed as the time and place for a public hearing upon the matter of the supplemental appropriations to the budget as follows: 001 Current Expense/Emergency Services $40,726 001 Current Expense/Sheriff $147,000 100 Convention Center/Fairgrounds $ 3,000 196 Environmental Health/WQ $134,441 403 Wastewater No Bay/Case Inlet $300,000 The Clerk of the Board is hereby authorized, empowered, and directed to cause notice of such hearing to be published as provided by law.
