Re: GIBBS BUILDING PERMIT REQUEST

The City of Tacoma has received the request for a building
permit from Dr. Richard Gibbs on Lot 23, Block 1 , Lake Cushman
Westside No. 1 . We have determined that the drawings are incorrect
as to the distances involved between the current lake level and the
federal licensed lake level of 742-foot elevation above sea level .
We request that you not issue a building permit for this
house until Dr. Gibbs provides a new plot plan to include established
property corners for our approval . Mike Dreyer, of our office, talked
to Dr. Gibbs by phone and gave him an explanation of our
requirements.

to provide concurrence for the proposed project.
The proposed plan references only the normal. 735-foot high
water contour line.
Please observe the note on the enclosed plat map of Lake
Cushman Westside #1, Block #1. The setback requirements should be
established from the upper limits of a 10-foot lateral strip upland
of and parallel with the 742-foot contour line.
Please request a re-application, based on the said note
regarding the 742-foot contour.
