Dear Mr. and Mrs. Narrance:
On March 22, 2002, you submitted Mason Environmental Permit Application number
MEP 2002-00018. You submitted the application to resolve enforcement action
ENF2001-00332. The enforcement case was initiated to respond to a complaint that
vegetation removal and grading activity had impacted a regulated wetland.
In conjunction with the MEP permit application, you submitted a wetland delineation and
categorization prepared by Teri Franklin of Franklin, Huett and Miller. Ms. Franklin
determined that the wetland is a Category IV wetland less than a quarter acre in size. As
such, the wetland is exempted from Mason County jurisdiction.
Your permit application and a refund request form are enclosed. Please complete and
submit the refund request form to have the $160 permit application fee returned to you.
Our records indicate that the receipt number is 11529. It would most likely have been
dated March 22, 2002. Please retain a copy of this letter for your records, and include a
copy of this letter with your request for refund. If you have questions regarding the
