Establishing Additional Days County Offices Will Not Be Open to the Public in 2000 RESOLUTION NO . 15 7 - 9 9 ESTABLISHING ADDITIONAL DAYS DURING THE YEAR 2000 MASON COUNTY OFFICES WILL NOT BE OPEN TO THE PUBLIC FOR BUSINESS WHEREAS, RCW 36 , 16 . 100 states "All county and precinct offices shall be kept open for the transaction of business during such days and hours as the board of county commissioners shall by resolution prescribe . " WHEREAS, due to limited financial and personnel resources, the Board of Mason County Commissioners find it necessary to close Mason County Offices to the public for public business one day each month during the year 2000 ; WHEREAS, these closures are in addition to holiday closures established by RCW 1 . 16 . 050 and Mason County Code 2 . 28 . 030 ; NOW THEREFORE, the Mason County Board of County Commissioners does hereby declare that Mason County Offices (with the exception of the Mason County Judicial System, the Mason County Jail and the Mason County Juvenile Detention Facility) will not be open to the public for public business on the following days : Monday, January 31 , 2000 Monday, February 28, 2000 Monday, March 27, 2000 Monday, April 17, 2000 Tuesday, May 30, 2000 Monday, June 26, 2000 Monday, July 31 , 2000 Monday, August 28 , 2000 Monday, September 25, 2000 Monday, October 9, 2000 Monday, November 27, 2000 Friday, December 22 , 2000 APPROVED this 30th day of December, 1999. a BOARD OF COUNTY COMM SSf ONERS Cynthia D .
