1999 BUDGET
SUPPLEMENTAL APPROPRIATION as NOTICE OF HEARING
WHEREAS , by reason of conditions which could not be reasonably foreseen at the
time of making the budget for the year 1999 , it is necessary to make provision for
supplemental appropriation to the budget as required by RCW 36 . 40 . 100 , and RCW
36 . 40 . 195 due to : federal and state grants in Personal Health/Nursing which will be
used for equipment and other operating expenses ; and state grants and fees for
service in Environmental Health which will be used for operating supplies , printing
and binding , and equipment, and a state grant which will be used by the Fire
Marshal for the costs of the Smoke Detector Programs and a federal grant for
salmon recovery which will be used by Planning to hire a salmon recovery planner ,
and a state grant to be used by the Planning Department to fulfill requirements of
the Growth Management Act.
THEREFORE , BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners :
That the 14th day of December, 1999 at the hour of 9 : 50 a . m in the Mason
County Commission Chambers , 411 North Fifth Street , Shelton , Washington , is
hereby fixed as the time and place for a public hearing upon the matter of the
supplemental appropriation to the budget for .
Personal Health Nursing Fund $ 38 , 911
Environmental Health Fund $ 15 , 333
Current Expense $ 292655
The Clerk of the Board is hereby authorized , empowered , and directed to
cause notice of such hearing to be published as provided by law .
