1999 BUDGET
SUPPLEMENTAL APPROPRIATION = NOTICE OF HEARING
WHEREAS , by reason of conditions which could not be reasonably foreseen at the
time of making thel budget for the year 1999 , it is necessary to make provision for
supplemental appropriation to the budget as required by RCW 36 . 40 . 100 , and RCW
36 . 40 . 195 due to : unanticipated revenue from the Washington State entitlement for
fairs, charges for services, event admission fees, hall rentals, carnival proceeds,
and other miscellaneous revenue. This additional revenue will be used to fund
operating expenditures for the remainder of 1999.
THEREFORE , BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners :
That the 16th day of November, 1999 at the hour of 9 : 20 a . m . in the Mason
County Commission Chambers , at Courthouse Building 1 , 411 North Fifth Street , Shelton ,
Washington , is hereby fixed as the time and place for a public hearing upon the matter of
the supplemental appropriation to the budget for: Convention Center/Fairgrounds Fund
estimated amount of $ 24 , 708
The Clerk of the Board is hereby authorized , empowered , and directed to
cause notice of such hearing to be published as provided by law .
