A RESOLUTION APPROVING AN ANNEXATION OF TERRITORY INTO FIRE PROTECTION
DISTRICT NO . 2 . PER RCW 52 . 04
WHEREAS , in accordance with RCW 52 . 04 . 011 the Mason County Auditor certified the
sufficiency of signatures on a petition for annexation of territory into Fire Protection District No . 2 for the
below described territory and as outlined on Attachment A ; and
All of Section 5 , Township 23 North , Range 2 WWM , all of Section 8 , Township 23 North , Range
2 WWM , and all of Section 17 , Township 23 North , Range 2 WWM all situated in Mason County ,
Washington .
WHEREAS , the petition was signed by more than sixty percent of the qualified registered electors
residing within the territory proposed to be annexed and the Board of Fire Commissioners of Mason
County Fire Protection District No . 2 concurred with dispensing with a hearing and an election ;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED , that the Board of Mason County Commissioners hereby
enters its order incorporating into Fire Protection District No . 2 the above described territory ; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the financial obligation of the area to be annexed shall
become subject to the indebtedness , bonded or otherwise , of the existing district.
