Dear Mr. Clifford,
I have an open enforcement case against your property that I am looking to get resolved.
I also see an unresolved issue regarding a structure built within the stream buffer. I have
included a letter dated Nov 13,2007 from Mindi Brock regarding a structure built
without County permits. It should be noted that the building is located within a buffer of
a Type F stream,which has a 150 foot buffer with a 15 foot building setback. Structures
built within the buffer require an approval from the Mason County Hearings Examiner. I
do not see an approval on file for any such structures and I also see that the building
permit(BLD2006-00999)was cancelled.
In addition to the above cases,I notice from several site photos that you are in violation
of the Mason County Development Regulations for Off-Street Parking(17.03.040). It
should be noted that"no parcel with out a residence shall have more than 3 vehicles
located on the parcel". "Vehicles in this section include, but are not limited too, cars,
trucks, vans, buses, recreational vehicles, trailers, all-terrain vehicles, motorcycles,
watercraft, airplanes, and earthmoving, logging, or construction equipment." Full
compliance with this regulation must be met by October 31,2008. An extension may be
granted if needed.
