Dear Mr. Luck,
In response to the request and authorization of Ms. Renee Wassenaar representing North Mason
Regional Fire Authority,Krazan &Associates has provided special inspection and related construction
materials testing services for the North Mason RFA Fire Station project located at 490 NE Old Belfair
HWY in Belfair,Washington.Our services were performed by our staff from April 28,2022 through May
2,2022, under the supervision of a State of Washington registered engineer.
Our observations were documented in our inspector's daily field reports which have been submitted the
owner,structural engineer of record,contractor and Mason County building department. Krazan
provided special.inspection for the following type of construction at the project site:
Soils and Foundations
Reinforced Concrete
Reinforced Concrete Masonry Units
Structural Steel Welding including NDT(UT)
Structural Wood(Shearwall Nailing)
In accordance with Chapter 17 of the 2018 International Building Code,the work requiring special
inspection was performed in conformance with approved plans and applicable standards of
workmanship at the time of completion.
LIMITATIONS
We have performed our services in a manner consistent with the standard of care and skill ordinarily
exercised by forms of our type practicing under similar conditions at the time and locality our inspection
was performed. Please recognize that construction monitoring is a technique employed to reduce the
risk of problems arising during construction. Provision of construction monitoring by Krazan&
Associates personnel is not insurance, nor does it guarantee the construction of any type. In all cases
the contractor shall retain sole responsibility for the quality of there work,adhering to the approved
project plans and specifications and for repairing any defects, deficiencies or omissions, regardless of
when they are found. Our services were limited to the work documented in our reports.We do not

undertake the guarantee of construction or completion of a completed project conforming to the plans
and specifications. No warranty expressed or implied.
