COMMISSIONERS RESOLUTION NO. :
COUNTY ROAD PROJECT NO. : 1611
WHEREAS, on Mason County Road No. 98250 , known locally as the Old Belfair Hwy,
and more specifically located in Sec. 9, T23N, R1W, WM M.P. 3 . 35 to M.P. 3 . 37
work defined as " construction" in the BARS Manual, Page II-63 , et seq, is determined to be necessary and proper; and,
WHEREAS, this proj ect is identified as 45 on the officially adopted County Annual Road Program.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS that it is their
intention to :
Remove existing 60 " x 46" x 60' steel pipe arch from Bear Creek and replace it with a 10'3 " x 69 " x 60'
Aluminum Pipe Arch.
SAID WORK is to be performed by day labor/contract in accordance with the Washington State Standard
(day labor/contract)
Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction as adopted by Mason County.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the above described County Road Project is necessary and proper, and the
estimated costs of said project are herewith set out as follows :
Engineering $ 15 .000 . 00
Right-of-Way $ 5 .000 . 00
Road Construction $ 70 000 . 00
Note : State of Washington, Governor' s Salmon Recovery Office (GSRO) providing Grant in amount
not to exceed $90,000. 00.
The County Road Project herein described is HEREBY DECLARED to be a public necessity, and the County Road
Engineer is HEREBY ORDERED AND AUTHORIZED to report and proceed thereon as by law, provided and in
accordance with WAC 136- 18 .
