"( BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS, MASON COUNTY, WASHINGTON, AS FOLLOWS ° WHEREAS, the Board of Mason County Commissioners have met and considered the Road Fund Budget for the calendar year 1999 ; and WHEREAS, the Board of Mason County Commissioners, in the course of considering the Road Fund Budget for 1999 have reviewed all sources of revenue and examined all anticipated expenses and obligations ; and WHEREAS, the Board of Mason County Commissioners have determined that, due to extensive weather damage to county roads and to protect future road property tax levy capacity, there is a substantiatial need to increase the regular property tax levy rate above the rate of inflation, as defined by the implicit price deflator (IPD) . NOW, THEREFORE , BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of Mason County Commissioners that the limit factor for the regular levy for the Road Fund for the calendar year 1999 shall be 6 . 0% of the highest amount of regular property taxes that could have been lawfully levied in Mason County in any year since 1985 .
