ESTABLISHING YEAR 2001 SALARIES FOR
CERTAIN ELECTED OFFICIALS
WHEREAS , RCW 36 , 40 , 080 states that " . . . the Board of county Commissioners shall
fix and determine each item of the budget separately and shall by resolution adopt the
budget . . . " ;
WHEREAS , the fixing of Elected Officials salaries is an integral part of the budgeting
process ;
WHEREAS , the Board has determined that the compensation of certain Elected
Officials should be adjusted ;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners
does hereby establish the following annual salaries for Elected Officials :
ASSESSOR, AUDITOR, CLERK and TREASURER
$ 517762 effective 1 / 1 /2001
CORONER $41 , 625 effective 1 / 1 /2001
SHERIFF $63 , 963 effective 1 / 1 /2001
PROSECUTING $ 91 , 706 effective 1 / 1 /2001
