RESOLUTION NO . U ' � - 00
WHEREAS , property owners of the east half ( 1 /2 ) of Sections 24 , 25 , and 36 of
Township 21 North (T21N ) Range 5 West ( R5W) and sections 19720 , 21 , 28 , 29 , 30 , 31 , 32 ,
and 33 of Township 21 North (T21 N ) Range 4 West ( R4W) of Mason County , now desire
to become a part of Mason County Fire Protection District ( MCFPD ) #9 and :
WHEREAS , a petition , signed by more than 60 % of the qualified voters in the
above noted area requesting the above annexation has been approved by the Board of
Commissioners MCFPD #9 and that the calling of a hearing and/or election is precluded
by RCW 52 . 04 . 011 and ;
WHEREAS , the County Auditor has determined that the signers of the petition
are qualified voters of the area ; and
WHEREAS , the territory shall become subject to the indebtedness , bonded or
otherwise , of the existing district ; and
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Mason County
Commissioners approves and authorizes the incorporation of the above noted area into
MCFPD #9 as outlined on Attachment A .
