COMMISSIONERS RESOLUTION NO. : 9 0- 00
COUNTY ROAD PROJECT NO. : 1687
WHEREAS , on Mason County Road No . 63630 , known locally as the Lombard Road North , and more
specifically located in Section 7 , Township 21 North, Range 1 West, WM M.P . 0 . 00 to M.P . 0 . 77 work
defined as " construction" in the BARS Manual, Page II-63 , et seq, is determined to be necessary and proper; and,
WHEREAS , this project is identified as 44 on the officially adopted County Annual Road Program.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS that it is their
intention to :
Perform Preliminary Engineering, Right of Way Acquisition, Road Preparation, (road widening, construct culdesac,
grade/drain/surface) and apply 2 shots of bituminous surfact treatment (BST) .
SAID WORK is to be performed by day labor in accordance with the Washington State
(day labor/contract)
Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction as adopted by Mason County.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the above described County Road Project is necessary and proper, and the
estimated costs of said project are herewith set out as follows :
Construction/Engineering $ 3 000 . 00
Right-of-Way $ 1 . 500 . 00
Road Construction $ 30 ,000 . 00
The County Road Project herein described is HEREBY DECLARED to be a public necessity, and the County Road
Engineer is HEREBY ORDERED AND AUTHORIZED to report and proceed thereon as by law, provided and in
accordance with WAC 136 - 18 .
ADOPTED this 5th day of September 2000 .
