COMMISSIONERS RESOLUTION NO. : 65a 00
COUNTY ROAD PROJECT NO. : 1683
WHEREAS , on Mason County Road No . 98250 , known locally as the Old Belfair Highwgy and more
specifically located in Section 20_ Township 23 North, Range 1 West. WM M.P. 1 . 48 to M. P. 1 . 52 work defined
as "construction" in the BARS Manual, Page II-63 , et seq, is determined to be necessary and proper; and,
WHEREAS, this project is identified as 45 on the officially adopted County Annual Road Program,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS that it is their
intention to :
Remove two (2) existing 36 " concrete culverts from Courtney Creek and replace them with a 16 ' x 6 2 " x 50 ' open
bottom aluminum pipe arch.
SAID WORK is to be performed by contract in accordance with the Washington State
(day labor/contract)
Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction as adopted by Mason County.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the above described County Road Project is necessary and proper, and the
estimated costs of said project are herewith set out as follows :
Construction/Engineering $ 5 000 . 00 *
Right-of--Way $ N/A
Road Construction $ 91 063 *
* (Mason County Funds : $58,031 - Grant Funded : $38,032)
The County Road Project herein described is HEREBY DECLARED to be a public necessity, and the County Road
Engineer is HEREBY ORDERED AND AUTHORIZED to report and proceed thereon as by law, provided and in
accordance with WAC 136- 18 .
ADOPTED this 1 lth day of July 2000 .
