HomeMy WebLinkAbout51-00 - Res. 2000 Budget Supplemental Appropriation RESOLUTION NO . © � 2000 BUDGET SUPPLEMENTAL APPROPRIATION = NOTICE OF HEARING WHEREAS , by reason of conditions which could not be reasonably foreseen at the time of making the budget for the year 2000 , it is necessary to make provision for supplemental appropriation to the budget as required by RCW 36 . 40 . 100 , and RCW 36 . 40 . 195 due to : the receipt of local goverment assistance from the WA State Legislature which will be used to : partially restore budget cuts due to the loss of MVET revenue , fund the reclassification of the internal auditor/accountant in the Auditor' s Office ; funding licensing staff to work longer than budgeted at the Belfair Annex ; fund increasing a clerk in the District Court to full-time ; fund hiring a deputy prosecutor at a higher range and step than budgeted . Also , unbudgeted beginning fund balance for the WRIR 16 grant which will be used to hire a consultant . THEREFORE , BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners : That the 20t" day of June , 2000 at the hour of 10 : 00 a . m . in the Mason County Commission Chambers , at Courthouse Building 1 , 411 North Fifth Street , Shelton , Washington , is hereby fixed as the time and place for a public hearing upon the matter of the supplemental appropriation to the budget for the Current Expense Fund in the estimated amount of $ 365 , 816 and the Health Services Fund in the estimated amount of $ 32 , 761 the above mentioned purposes . The Clerk of the Board is hereby authorized , empowered , and directed to cause notice of such hearing to be published as provided by law . DATED this d day of J4�L4t4L , 2000 .
