2000 BUDGET
SUPPLEMENTAL APPROPRIATION = NOTICE OF HEARING
WHEREAS , by reason of conditions which could not be reasonably foreseen at the
time of making the budget for the year 2000 , it is necessary to make provision for
supplemental appropriation to the budget as required by RCW 36 . 40 . 100 , and RCW
36 . 40 . 195 due to : federal grants from the Dept . of Justice for laptop computers and
other small tools and equipment in the Sheriff' s Office ; a state grant from the Office of
Financial Management and grants from US West and A T & T for a livescan fingerprint
system in the Sheriffs Office ; and unanticipated beginning fund balance for computer
software for the Prosecutor' s Office .
THEREFORE , BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners :
That the 13t" day of June , 2000 at the hour of 9 : 10 a . m . in the Mason County
Commission Chambers , at Courthouse Building 1 , 411 North Fifth Street , Shelton ,
Washington , is hereby fixed as the time and place for a public hearing upon the matter of
the supplemental appropriation to the budget for the Current Expense Fund in the
estimated amount of jqZ.630 for the above mentioned purposes .
The Clerk of the Board is hereby authorized , empowered , and directed to
cause notice of such hearing to be published as provided by law .
