Establishment of Reserve for Technology Fund
WHEREAS, RCW 36 . 32 . 120 , states " . . the board of county commissioners . . .have the
care of the county property and the management of the county funds and business . . "
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of Mason County to establish a reserve fund for
technological improvements in communication and information systems ;
WHEREAS, the Mason County Financial Advisory Committee has reviewed and
approved the request for a county-wide reserve fund for technological improvements in
communication and information systems ;
NOW THEREFORE, the Mason County Board of County Commissioners does
hereby establish Fund No. 119-000-000, the Reserve for Technology Fund, to be used for
technological improvements in communication and information systems .
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, the Director of Budget & Finance shall administer
this fund as directed and authorized by the Mason County Commissioners .
