ESTABLISHING BUSINESS HOURS FOR ASSESSOR, AUDITOR, TREASURER, and
PERMIT ASSISTANCE CENTER AND ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH
AMENDS RESOLUTION NO . 159 - 99
WHEREAS , RCW 36 . 16 . 100 states "All county and precinct offices shall be kept
open for the transaction of business during such days and hours as the board of county
commissioners shall by resolution prescribe ; "
WHEREAS , due to limited financial and personnel resources , the Board of
Mason County Commissioners finds it necessary to prescribe the business hours for the
Assessor, Auditor and Treasurer within Building I , (411 North Fifth Street , Shelton ) , and
the Permit Assistance Center and Environmental Health at Building III (426 W . Cedar
St . , Shelton ) ;
IT IS HEREBY DECLARED that the business hours for these departments shall
be 8 : 30AM to 4 : 3OPM , Monday through Friday , for the regular days open to the public ,
effective April 1 , 2000 .
