WHEREAS , on December 30 , 1999 the Board of Mason County Commissioners
approved Resolution No . 157 -99 establishing additional days during the year 2000 that
Mason County offices will not be open to the public for public business ;
WHEREAS , RCW 36 , 16 . 100 states "All county and precinct offices shall be kept
open for the transaction of business during such days and hours as the board of county
commissioners shall by resolution prescribe . "
WHEREAS , the preliminary budget of the Washington State Legislature
indicates revenue , diminished by the passage of I- 695 , will be partially restored ;
NOW THEREFORE , the Board of Mason County Commissioners do hereby
repeal Resolution 157 -99 .
