IN THE MATTER OF .
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE COUNTY OF MASON TO RECEIVE
A CENTENNIAL CLEAN WATER FUND LOAN
WHEREAS , the Department of Ecology, a Washington State Agency, has established a
Centennial Clean Water Fund Loan for providing financial assistance for the construction of the
North Bay/Case Inlet Wastewater Treatment Facility; and
WHEREAS , the County of Mason desires to participate in a loan from said Centennial Clean
Water Fund ; and
WHEREAS , a requirement to participate requires a resolution of the governing body authorizing
the County of Mason to receive a Centennial Clean Water Fund Loan ;
NOW , THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNTY OF MASON AS FOLLOWS :
SECTION 1 . The County of Mason desires to participate in the Centennial Clean Water Fund
Loan Program .
SECTION 2 . The Board of Commissioners of the County of Mason does hereby authorize the
County of Mason to receive a Centennial Clean Water Fund Loan and to take such other actions
as are necessary and relevant to the Centennial Clean Water Fund Loan Program .
SECTION 3 . It is the intent of the Mason County Board of Commissioners to fund the North
Bay/Case Inlet Wastewater Treatment Facility project per approved plans utilizing revenue of the
sewer utility as described .
