2001 BUDGET
SUPPLEMENTAL APPROPRIATION - NOTICE OF HEARING
WHEREAS , by reason of conditions which could not be reasonably foreseen at the
time of making the budget for the year 2001 , it is necessary to make provision for
supplemental appropriation to the budget as required by RCW 36 . 40 . 100 , and RCW
36 . 40 . 195 due to :
Unbudgeted beginning fund balance in the Current Expense Fund to be used for an
increase in Salaries for the Auditor, Assessor, Clerk and Treasurer ; costs of an
employee compensation report and employee ID in Human Resources ; additional
costs of extra help at the Fairgrounds/Convention Center ; and additional cost of
wages as a result of the bargaining unit agreement in the Juvenile Detention
Facility . A grant from the WA State Dept of Ecology will also be used for community
litter cleanup in the Landfill Fund .
THEREFORE , BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners :
That the 25`h day of September, 2001 at the hour of 6 : 20 p . m . in the Mason
County Commission Chambers , at Courthouse Building 1 , 411 North Fifth Street , Shelton ,
Washington , is hereby fixed as the time and place for a public hearing upon the matter of
a supplemental appropriation to the budget for the : Current Expense Fund in the
estimated amount of $ 39 , 345 and the Landfill Fund in the estimated amount of
$ 62 , 225 .
The Clerk of the Board is hereby authorized , empowered , and directed to cause
notice of such hearing to be published as provided by law .
