AMENDS RESOLUTION NO . 48 - 96 — AUDITOR ELECTION ' S FUND REVOLVING CHECKING
ACCOUNT
WHEREAS , the Auditor' s office , Election Department has been approved for non - profit
mailing rates through the United States Postal Service ;
WHEREAS , there is established a Revolving Checking Account for $ 1 , 000 to provide
adequate funds for mailing absentee ballots and other election materials ;
WHEREAS , it is necessary to increase the Revolving Checking Account to $ 2 , 500 due to
increased volume of absentee ballots ,
WHEREAS , the Auditor' s Office , Election Department agrees to follow the guidelines
drawn out in Volume 1 of the Bars Manual ;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED the Auditor' s Office Election Department
establishes the Revolving Checking Account in the amount of $ 2 , 500 to pay for the mailing of
absentee ballots and other election materials .
