2001 BUDGET
SUPPLEMENTAL APPROPRIATION = NOTICE OF HEARING
WHEREAS , by reason of conditions which could not be reasonably foreseen at the
time of making the budget for the year 2001 , it is necessary to make provision for
supplemental appropriation to the budget as required by RCW 360400100 , and RCW
36 . 40 . 195 due to :
Treasurer' s foreclosure fees to be used for unexpected costs of property tax
foreclosures . Unbudgeted beginning fund balance in the Current Expense Fund
which will be used for the increase in employer contributions for employee
medical/dental benefits , leave payout for a retiring Sheriff' s Department deputy, and
the cost of adding four jailers to jail staff. A grant from the WA Counties Risk Pool
which will be used for the skid car for training in the Sheriff' s Office .
THEREFORE , BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners :
That the 18"' day of September, 2001 at the hour of 10 : 15 a . m . in the Mason
County Commission Chambers , at Courthouse Building 1 , 411 North Fifth Street , Shelton ,
Washington , is hereby fixed as the time and place for a public hearing upon the matter of
a supplemental appropriation to the budget for the :
Treasurer' s M & O Fund $ 12 , 300
Current Expense Fund $242 , 331
The Clerk of the Board is hereby authorized , empowered , and directed to cause
notice of such hearing to be published as provided by law .
