A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING SIX (6) CASH DRAWERS IN THE SHERIFF ' S OFFICE
WHEREAS, the Washington State Auditor ' s Office has recommended that the Sheriff have six
(6) cash drawers for receiving revenue to strengthen internal controls in the Sheriff' s Office;
WHEREAS, it is necessary for each cash drawer to have its own change fund;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED , by the Board of Mason County Commissioners that
six (6) cash drawers be established in the Sheriff s Office .
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that each cash drawer shall have a change fund in the amount
of $ 100, for a total of $ 600 in chiiange„ funds in the Sheriff s Office .
