RESOLUTION TO ESTABLISH COUNTY ROAD
WHEREAS, on February 13 , 2001 , the Board of County Commissioners did pass and approve a Resolution
of Intention to Establish Romance Hill Road, as County Road No . 86500 , as a county maintained road .
WHEREAS , after due Notice and Public Hearing, pursuant to law, and after careful consideration and
study of the report submitted by the Mason County Engineer, the Board finds that the establishment is a
public necessity and practicable .
WHEREAS, the County Engineer recomends the speed limit for Romance Hill Road be posted at 20 mph .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the Board of Mason County Commissioners,
that Romance Hill Road be established as a part of the Mason County Road System , and the Mason County
Engineer is hereby directed to proceed with said establishment .
NOW, THEREFORE , BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED AND ORDERED , that the recommended
speed limit of 20 mph is effective immediately on Romance Hill Road, and the County Engineer is
directed to erect the necessary speed limit signs in conformity herewith .
