RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO ESTABLISH COUNTY ROAD
WHEREAS, on Tuesday, February 13 , 2001 , in conformance with RCW 36 . 81 . 010 , the Board of
County Commissioners entered upon their Minutes a motion declaring their intent to establish as a County
Maintained Road, Romance Hill Road, County Road Number 86500 . This road was originally referred to
as Hood Canal Heights Road in the cooperative agreement between the County and the land developer, Mr.
Rich Krueger, as referenced in the August 11 Commissioners Minutes in 1998 . This road was finally
recorded as Romance Hill Road on the face of the plat . This is a newly constructed road with a paved
surface being approximately 0 . 67 miles long, beginning at the intersection with SR 3 in Belfair and ending
at the southern boundary line near the southeast corner of the Plat of Clifton Ridge (Mason County Book of
Plats , Vol . 10 , Pages 167- 172) . Said road located in the Northeast Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of
Section 32 , Township 23 North, Range 1 West, W . M .
NOW THEREFORE , BE IT RESOLVED that the proposed county road is a public necessity,
and that the County Engineer be directed to report thereon , and the Clerk of the Board shall fix a time and
place for hearing the report as required by statute, and that the Prosecuting Attorney be requested to review
and give approval to the steps herein ordered .
