ESTABLISHING THE SALARY FOR THE
PROSECUTING ATTORNEY
WHEREAS , RCW 36 , 40 . 080 states that " . . . the Board of county Commissioners shall
fix and determine each item of the budget separately and shall by resolution adopt the
budget. . .
WHEREAS , the fixing of Elected Officials salaries is an integral part of the budgeting
process ;
WHEREAS , the Board has determined that the compensation of the Prosecuting
Attorney should be adjusted ;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners
does hereby establish the following annual salary for Prosecuting Attorney:
PROSECUTING ATTORNEY $ 96 , 383 effective 2/1 /2001
