Item: Belfair Sewer Fund 413 Request to Transfer from Operating to Salaries&Benefits
Back2round/Executive Summary:
The 2022 budget for Belfair Sewer Fund 413 salary and benefits is $268,994. The actual expenditures for
2022 came in at$334,219, $65,225 over the budgeted amount. County Resolution No. 26-17 approves
adopting a two-bottom line budget: one for salaries and benefits and one for operating. The resolution
allows Elected Officials and Department Directors to transfer up to $15,000 from one bottom line to
another within general fund departments or special funds without Board Approval. Since the Belfair
Sewer Fund went over this amount,the Budget Office is seeking Board Approval for this transfer.
