Declaring Surplus Property RESOLUTIONI05 - 03 DECLARATION OF SURPLUS PROPERTY WHEREAS, RCW 36 . 34 . 010 states "whenever it appears to the board of county commissioners that it is in the best interest of the county . . . and the people thereof that any part or parcel , or portion of such part or parcel , of property whether real , personal or mixed, belonging to the county. . . should be sold , the board shall sell and convey such property. . . . WHEREAS, several items of miscellaneous property owned by Mason County have been determined to be surplus to the county's needs ; NOW, THEREFORE BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Board of Mason County Commissioners that the following items are declared surplus property . See Attachment A . BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mason County Treasurer be authorized to hold a public auction to dispose of said surplus items at the hour of 10 , 00 a . m . on October 25, 2003 at the Mason County Road Department, Central Shop, 3620 E Johns Prairie Rd , Shelton , WA .
