AMENDING RESOLUTION 06 -04 CHANGING THE SALARY FOR THE
PROSECUTING ATTORNEY , SHERIFF AND CORONER
WHEREAS , RCW 36 , 40 , 080 states that " . . . the Board of county Commissioners shall
fix and determine each item of the budget separately and shall by resolution adopt the
budget . . . " ;
WHEREAS , the fixing of Elected Officials salaries is an integral part of the budgeting
process ;
WHEREAS , the Board has determined that the compensation of the Prosecuting
Attorney , Sheriff and Coroner should be adjusted ;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners
does hereby establish the following annual salary for Prosecuting Attorney , Sheriff and
Coroner effective January 1 , 2005 :
PROSECUTING ATTORNEY $ 108 , 480
SHERIFF $ 765 093
CORONER $46 , 850
