An ordinance amending Ordinance No . 87-04 , to correct the amount of
fees charged for fingerprinting services by the Mason County Sheriff and adding
this amended ordinance to the Mason County Code .
WHEREAS , RCW 36 . 18 . 040 authorizes the county legislative authority to
set the amounts of fees that shall be collected by the Sheriff to cover the costs of
administration and operation ; and
WHEREAS , the county legislative authority enacted Ordinance No . 87-04 ,
setting fees to be collected by the Sheriff to cover the costs of administration and
operation for official services ; and
WHEREAS , fee item number 17 of Ordinance 87 -04 , relating to fingerprint
services , is incorrect and should be amended to show the actual charges for
fingerprint services ;
NOW , THEREFORE , IT IS HEREBY ORDAINED by the Board of County
Commissioners of Mason County , Washington , that fee item number 17 of
Ordinance 87 - 04 is amended to read as follows :
" For fingerprinting for non -criminal purposes , ten dollars for each print
card . "
