SPEED LIMITS
MASON COUNTY ROADS
WHEREAS , as authorized by RCW 46 . 61 . 415 speed limits on County roads in Mason County,
Washington, were fixed by Ordinance No . 14- 81 on April 20 , 1981 , as 50 miles per hour, except
certain roads as otherwise posted; and,
WHEREAS , said ordinance was superceded in its entirety on July 21 , 1987 under Ordinance No .
55 - 87 ; and,
WHEREAS , existing conditions on the following road in Mason County warrants a speed limit
change , as shown :

THEREFORE , IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED AND ORDERED, that the speed limits are
effective immediately as shown on the above listed county roads , and the County Engineer is so
directed to erect the necessary speed limit signs in conformity herewith.
