RESOLUTION NO. 63 - 04
2004 BUDGET TRANSFER
WHEREAS , by reason of conditions which could not be reasonably foreseen at the time of
making the budget for the year 2004, it is necessary to make provision for Budget Transfers to the 2004
Budget as authorized by RCW 36 .40 . 100 in the Natural Resource Education Program in the Cooperative
Extension Department of the Current Expense Fund . It is also necessary to approve 2004 bottom line
budgetary authority for the Cooperative Extension Department to enable Cooperative Extension to pay
interns in the Summer Forestry Leadership Program at the end of July 2004 .
THE BOARD OF MASON COUNTY COMMISSIONERS hereby approves the 2004 Budget
Transfer requested by the Cooperative Extension Department (See Attachment A which is hereby
incorporated as part of this resolution) .
THE BOARD OF MASON COUNTY COMMISSIONERS also approves unrestricted 2004
departmental budgetary authority for the Cooperative Extension Department 001 -010 -000 . This means
2004 budgetary salary and benefit expenditure line items may be used to meet obligations of other
portions of the budget; and other portions of the budget may be used to meet obligations of budgetary
salary and benefit expenditure line items .
