COMMISSIONERS RESOLUTION NO. : 57 - 04
COUNTY ROAD PROJECT NO. : 1829
WHEREAS , on Mason County Road No . 41640 known locally as the Skokomish Valley Road and
more specifically located in Sec . 16 , T21N, R4W, WM : M . P . 1 . 51 to M . P . 2 . 01 , work defined as " construction " in
the BARS Manual, Page II-63 , et seq, is determined to be necessary and proper; and,
WHEREAS , this project is identified as # 23 on the officially adopted 2004 — 2009 six year road program .
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS that it is their intention
to :
Perform preliminary engineering and right of way for the future realignment and reconstruction of the Hunter
Creek Bridge ,
SAID WORK is to be performed by day labor in accordance with the Washington State
day labor/contract)
Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction as adopted by Mason County .
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the above described County Road Project is necessary and proper, and the
estimated costs of said project are herewith set out as follows :
Engineering $ 20 ,000 . 00
Right-of-Way $ 20 ,000 . 00
Road Construction $
The County Road Project herein described is HEREBY DECLARED to be a public necessity, and the County Road
Engineer is HEREBY ORDERED AND AUTHORIZED to report and proceed thereon as by law, provided and in
accordance with WAC 136 - 18 .
ADOPTED this 6`h day of July 2004 .
