COMMISSIONERS RESOLUTION NO. : 38 - 04
COUNTY ROAD PROJECT NO . : 1828
WHEREAS , on Mason County Road No . 75210 , known locally as Tahuva River Drive
and more specifically located in Section 5 , Township 22 North Range 2 West WM M .P . 1 . 17 , work defined as
" construction " in the BARS Manual , Page II-63 , et seq, is determined to be necessary and proper; and,
WHEREAS , this project is identified as # * * on the officially adopted County Annual Road Program .
* * Emergency Culvert Replacements
It is essential for public safety that this pipe be replaced .. Culvert is severely corroded and has
sections that are collapsing.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS that it is their intention
to :
Remove and replace (with fish-passable culvert) one ( 1 ) 364nch diameter culverts located on Tahuya River
Drive at Milepost LIT
SAID WORK is to be performed by Contract in accordance with the Washington State
(day labor/contract)
Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction as adopted by Mason County,__ _
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the above described County Road Project is necessary and proper, and the
estimated costs of said project are herewith set out as follows :
Engineering $ 30, 000 ,00
Right-of-Way $ 154000 .00
Road Construction $ 350 , 000 .00
The County Road Project herein described is HEREBY DECLARED to be a public necessity, and the County Road
Engineer is HEREBY ORDERED AND AUTHORIZED to report and proceed thereon as by law, provided and in
accordance with WAC 136- 18 .
ADOPTED this I Ph day of May , 2004 .
