NOTICE OF INTENT TO VACATE
SETTING TIME AND PLACE FOR HEARING ON SAID VACATION
RCW 36 . 87
IN THE MATTER OF THE PETITION OF RONALD A. GRIFFEY
WHEREAS , NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Mason County Board of Commissioners received a
petition for the vacation of the following roads in the Plat of Allyn :
Portion of Sullivan Street: West half of Sullivan Street adjacent to Lots 9 & 10 , Block 39 , & Lots 1 through
10 block 24 . East half of Sullivan Street from the centerline of Kaufman Street , adjacent to Lots 1 through
10 , Block 24 , to the centerline of Scarritt Street .
Portion of Scarritt Street : South half of Scarritt Street adjacent to Block 24 and Block 23 , from the northerly
boundary line of said Plat easterly to the centerline of the alley between Block 23 and Block 24 , excluding
State Route 3 .
Portion of Kaufman Street: South half of Kaufman Street adjacent to Blocks 38 & 39 , from the centerline of
Wheelwright to the centerline of Sullivan Street . North half of Kaufman Street adjacent to Blocks 23 , 24
and 25 , from the centerline of the alley between Block 22 and 23 to the centerline of Wheelwright Street,
excluding State Route 3 .
Portion of Wheelwright Street : East half of Wheelwright Street adjacent to Lot 10 , Block 38 and Lot 1 ,
Block 25 .
West half of the alley adjacent to Lot 10 , Block 38 .
West half of the alley adjacent to Lot 1 , Block 25 .
East half of the alley adjacent to Lots 9 and 10 , Block 39 .
East half of the alley adjacent to Lots 1 through 10 , Block 24 .
West half of the alley adjacent to Lots 1 through 10 , Block 23 , excluding State Route 3 .
WHEREAS , the Board did set a date for public hearing on the matter and directed the Clerk to
prepare notice thereof for posting and publication ;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED , that said hearing has been set for Tuesday, May 4, 2004 at
9 : 30a . m . in the Commission Chambers , Mason County Courthouse Building I , 411 North Fifth Street, Shelton ,
Washington at which time and place any taxpayer may appear to hear the County Engineer's report, and to be
heard either for or against the granting of the petition .
