COMMISSIONERS RESOLUTION NO. : 14- 04
COUNTY ROAD PROJECT NO. : 1822
WHEREAS , at the intersection of Mason County Road No . 90100 , known locally as the Matlock Brady Road ,
and Mason County Road No . 02070 , Schafer Park Road ; said intersection more specifically located in Section 31 ,
Township 19 North, Range 6 West, WM at MP 27 . 80 (Matlock-Brady Road ) , and MP 0 . 00 , Schafer Park Road,
work defined as " construction " in the BARS Manual , Page II-63 , et seq, is determined to be necessary and proper; and,
WHEREAS , this project is identified as 9 4 on the officially adopted County Annual Road Program .
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS that it is their
intention to :
Realign and regrade intersection of Matlock Brady Road (MP 27 . 80) with Schafer Park Road (MP 0 . 00) to a 90
degree approach , and surface with 2 shots of Bituminous Surface Treatment (BST) .
SAID WORK is to be performed by Day labor in accordance with the Washington State
(day labor/contract)
Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction as adopted by Mason County.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the above described County Road Project is necessary and proper, and the
estimated costs of said project are herewith set out as follows :
Engineering $ 71000 , 00
Right-of--Way $ 51000 , 00
Road Construction $ 12 ,000 . 00
The County Road Project herein described is HEREBY DECLARED to be a public necessity, and the County Road
Engineer is HEREBY ORDERED AND AUTHORIZED to report and proceed thereon as by law, provided and in
accordance with WAC 136- 18 .
ADOPTED this 2nd day of March 2004 .
