COMMISSIONERS RESOLUTION NO . : 13 - 04
COUNTY ROAD PROJECT NO. : 1821
WHEREAS , on Mason County Road No . 23910 , known locally as the Agate Road , and more
specifically located in Section 1 , Township 20 North, Range 3 West, WM at M .P . 1 . 31 , work defined as
" construction " in the BARS Manual, Page II-63 , et seq, is determined to be necessary and proper; and,
WHEREAS , this project is identified as # 3 on the officially adopted County Annual Road Program ,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS that it is their intention
to :
Provide engineering, survey work, signs and placement of signs for the detour and also provide
inspector services for the project . This South Puget Sound Salmon Enhancement project is removing the existing culvert
at Mallaney Creek and replacing it with a large concrete box culvert for fish passage enhancement.
SAID WORK is to be performed by Day labor in accordance with the Washington State
(day labor/contract)
Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction as adopted by Mason County .
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the above described County Road Project is necessary and proper, and the
estimated costs of said project are herewith set out as follows :
Engineering $
Right-of-Way $
Road Construction $ 15 , 000 . 00
The County Road Project herein described is HEREBY DECLARED to be a public necessity, and the County Road
Engineer is HEREBY ORDERED AND AUTHORIZED to report and proceed thereon as by law, provided and in
accordance with WAC 136- 18 .
ADOPTED this 2nd day of March . 2004 .
