AMMENDING RESOLUTION ® 162 =02 TO INCREASE THE SALARY OF
THE SHERIFF , PROSECUTING ATTORNEY AND CORONER
WHEREAS , RCW 36 . 40 . 080 states that " . . . the Board of County
Commissioners shall fix and determine each item of the budget separately and
shall by resolution adopt the budget , . * ;
WHEREAS , the fixing of Elected Officials ' salaries is an integral part of
the budgeting process ;
WHEREAS , the Board of County Commissioners has determined that the
compensation of the Sheriff, Prosecuting Attorney and Coroner should be
adjusted ;
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County
Commissioners does hereby establish the following annual salaries for the
Sheriff, Prosecuting Attorney and Coroner effective January 1 , 2004 :
Sheriff $737 877
Prosecuting Attorney $ 1051320
Coroner $457485
