2005 BUDGET
Supplemental Appropriation/Budget Transfer Notice of Hearing
WHEREAS , by reason of conditions which could not be reasonably foreseen at the time
of making the budget for the year 2005 , it is necessary to make provision for a supplemental
appropriation and a budget transfer to the Current Fund Budget as authorized by RCW 36 . 40 . 100
and RCW 36 .40 . 195 .
A transfer from the Ending Fund Balance will be used for the establishment of the
Director of Central Operations Position, re-instatement of the Receptionist/PBX Operator
Position, purchase of bleachers for the Fairgrounds/Convention Center, hosting the Mason
County Tourism Web Site for the Tourism Program in the Fairgrounds/Convention Center and
adding two additional deputies in the Sheriffs Office .
A grant for the Driving under the Influence (DUI) Task Force will be used to purchase a
vehicle in the Sheriff' s Department. A donation from the Simpson Timber Company will be used
for handicapped accessible picnic tables and reimbursement from a vendor will be used to repair
the deck at the Fairgrounds .
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Mason County Commissioners :
That the 23rd of August 2005 at the hour of 6 : 30 PM in the Mason County
Commissioners Chambers in Courthouse Building I, 411 North Fifth Street, Shelton, Washington,
is hereby fixed as the time and place for a public hearing upon the matter of a supplemental
appropriation/budget transfer to the 2005 Budget for the :
Current Expense Fund in the estimated amount of $ 79,612 Budget Transfer
And $ 15 ,270 Supplemental Appropriation
