A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING A CHANGE TO PERSONNEL POLICY 7 . 9
SHARED LEAVE POLICY
WHEREAS , Mason County has amended the Shared Leave Policy that is referred
to in the Mason County Personnel Polices , Chapter 7 . 9 ;
NOW , THEREFORE , The Board of County Commissioners hereby resolves to
amend Chapter 7 . 9 of the Mason County Personnel Policies , as follows :
7. 9 SHARED LEAVE PROGRAM
The Human Resources Director (vice The Board) may authorize employees to donate their accrued
vacation or sick leave to another County employee who is suffering from , or whose parent, spouse or child
is suffering from an extraordinary or severe illness , injury, or physical or mental condition which has
caused or is likely to cause the employee to take leave without pay or to terminate his/her employment.
The following conditions apply :
