A RESOLUTION CHANGING THE MASON COUNTY PUBLIC WORKS ACCESS
PERMIT TIMEFRAME FROM 90 DAYS TO 180 DAYS
WHEREAS , the Access Permit, governed by RCW 36 . 75 . 130 , which dictates the
construction of the approach to a county road, is currently issued for a 90 day period.
Mason County Public Works would like to adjust this timeframe to coincide with a
Building Permit, which is a 180 day period.
WHEREAS , the Building Inspectors are checking to make sure the Access Permits are
signed off and completed as part of their procedure in finalizing Building Permits , it is in
the best interest of the County to have these permits on the same timeframe .
NOW THEREFORE BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED that the Mason County
Commissioners do hereby adopt that Access Permits will be issued for a period of 180
days .
