HomeMy WebLinkAbout28-05 - Res. 2005 Budget Supplemental Appropriation and Budget Transfer RESOLUTION NO . 2 8 - 0 5 2005 BUDGET Supplemental Appropriation/Budget Transfer Notice of Hearing WHEREAS , by reason of conditions which could not be reasonably foreseen at the time of making the budget for the year 2005 , it is necessary to make provision for a supplemental appropriation and a budget transfer to the budget as authorized by RCW 36 . 40 . 100 and RCW 36 . 40 . 195 due to the following in the Current Expense Fund: a lodging tax award to Facilities & Grounds to lease a building for a Visitor Information Center; a lodging tax award to the Fairgrounds/Convention Center for tourism promotion; a Homeland Security Grant for the Sheriff to purchase equipment for emergency response; grants from the WA State Dept of Ecology to Planning to fund a study on groundwater storage for the WRIA 14 Watershed Planning Program and to fund the facilitation of watershed planning in Hood Canal ; and a budget transfer to increase the hours of the Court Commissioner in Superior. THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Mason County Commissioners : That the 19th of April 2005 at the hour of 9 : 30 AM in the Mason County Commissioners Chambers in Courthouse Building I, 411 North Fifth Street, Shelton, Washington, is hereby fixed as the time and place for a public hearing upon the matter of a supplemental appropriation and a budget transfer to the 2005 Budget for the : Current Expense Fund in the estimated amount of $203 , 830 Dated this 5 t h day of April 2005 .
