2005 BUDGET
Budget Transfer — Notice of Hearing
WHEREAS , by reason of conditions which could not be reasonably foreseen at the time of
making the budget for the year 2005 , it is necessary to make provision for a budget transfer to the budget
as required by RCW 36 .40 . 100 due to an increase in hours of work for the Administrative Assistant in the
Budget & Finance Department, the addition of a . 5 FTE Court Clerk II in the Clerk ' s Office , and the
addition of a Clerk in the Sheriffs Office . Ending Fund Balance in the Current Expense Fund will fund
this budget transfer .

THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Boa d of Mason County Commissioners :
That the 22nd of March 2005 at the hour of 6*00 PM in the Mason County Commissioners
Chambers at Courthouse Building I, 411 North Fifth Street, Shelton, Washington, is hereby fixed as the
time and place for a public hearing upon the matter of a budget transfer to the 2005 Budget for the :
Current Expense Ending Fund Balance in the estimated amount of ($ 54, 652)
Budget & Finance/Current Expense Fund in the total estimated amount of $ 6 ,267
Clerk/Current Expense Fund in the total estimated amount of $ 18 , 655
Sheriff/Current Expense Fund in the total estimated amount of $29 , 730
The Clerk of the Board is hereby authorized, empowered, and directed to cause notice of such
hearing to be published as provided by law .
